Police: Woman shot on Milwaukee's north side not intended target

MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- A 43-year-old woman who was shot in Milwaukee on Sunday, was not the intended target, according to police.

Milwaukee Police say the shooting happening near 18th and Hampton around 8:35 p.m. MPD says known suspects shot outside of the victim's home, accidentally striking her.

The shooting remains under investigation.

MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police say that a woman shot on the city's north side Sunday evening is expected to recover from her wounds.   The shooting happened around 8:40 PM in the area of N 18th and W Stark Streets.  The circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation.   The woman was taken to Froedtert Hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department.   The MPD describes her wound as non-life threatening.
