Woman says 'thank you' after 15 years to the man who saved her life

MILWAUKEE - It was a tearful reunion that was 15 years in the making. Saturday Gail Badtke was able to thank her flight for life nurse who saved her life back in 1999.

Her nurse, Blake Reichgeld met Badtke at the Flight for Life anniversary.

Badtke fell sick more than a decade before with a life threatening blood infection. The hospital said if she would have come in thirty minutes later she would have been dead. She credits Reichgeld for keeping her calm, transporting her quickly, and giving her the medication she needed.

It was the 30th anniversary for Flight for Life. The program has helped transport 20,000 people locally. Click on the video to see the full emotional reunion.
