’Good Deed Days’ kicks off for the second year in Milwaukee
WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) – A woman is lucky to be alive after a violent carjacking in Wauwatosa.
Three teens attacked 70-year-old Rubye Lenora in February just outside the Lutheran Home for the Aging on North Avenue.
Lenora was working there at the time.
She was walking to her car when the teens threw her to the ground and ran her over as they escaped. Lenora suffered a dislocated shoulder and three fractured ribs.
“I wouldn’t wish that on anybody. Until you experience it for yourself. That’s an awful feeling hit you with your own car and leave you, whether you’re dead or alive,” Lenora said.
Police chased the teens for nearly 14 miles. Officers used stop sticks to puncture the car tires. Lenora spent three days in the hospital.
