Woman Pleads Guilty To ‘Children Look Delicious’ Stalking

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A Minnesota woman pleaded guilty to a gross misdemeanor charge of stalking after she left anonymous threats to a family that said she wanted to taste and lick their children.

Carrie Pernula was upset when she wrote the notes because the neighbor's children were making noise and left items in her yard.

The first anonymous threat arrived last September by mail. The two short sentences said, “The children look delicious. May I have a taste?”

The family also started receiving magazine subscriptions with names on the labels like “Tasty Children.”

Police said they traced the magazines to Pernula. She admitted to the threats and was arrested last October.

Once her probationary period ends next year, the offense will not be in her permanent record. She needs to maintain no contact with the victims and also undergo counseling.

She was ordered to pay prosecution costs in the amount of $200.
