Woman in scrubs arrested for OWI, tells police she's a nurse en route to hospital

Jackson, WIS. (CBS 58) -- A 39-year-old Jackson woman was arrested for an OWI following an incident last month.
According to police, officers stopped a vehicle for speeding and erratic driving on Sherman Road around 3 p.m.
The woman, who was dressed in medical scrubs, stated that she was a nurse en route to the hospital where she works.
Officers noticed the odor of intoxicants, glassy eyes, and slow and slurred speech.
At first, the woman denied having anything to drink, and then she said she had her last drink at 11 p.m. the previous night.
She failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for OWI 1st Offense.
The Department of Safety and Professional Services was notified of the arrest.
