Woman Charged in Deadly Hit-And-Run Pleading Not Guilty

The Watertown woman charged in a deadly hit-and-run crash is pleading not guilty. Shaniece Davis, 28, was also bound over for trial during this morning’s preliminary hearing.

Police say Davis fled the scene of a crash near 92nd and Capitol then struck and killed a pedestrian in the crosswalk after hitting another car a few blocks away. 58-year-old Carol Daniel died from her injuries.

Davis’ next court appearance is April 28th.
