MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee woman is now charged in a crash that killed a 1-year-old boy Friday, Jan. 27.

Antwineesha Burse, 31, is charged with knowingly operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, causing death.

According to a criminal complaint, officers responded to the area near 35th and Hope around 11:30 p.m. and found two vehicles had collided with one another in the northbound traffic lanes.

The complaint says the first responding officer located Burse in the driver's seat of one of the vehicles.

Milwaukee Fire Department officials located and removed a small child, later identified as 13-month-old Zarion Robinson, who was in the rear passenger area of the vehicle.

The child was transported to Children's Wisconsin where he died of his injuries.

The complaint says based on "reasonable inferences based on the position of the vehicles" involved, Burse was traveling southbound and crossed into the northbound lane, colliding head-on with the other vehicle.

Wisconsin Department of Transportation records indicate Burse has never been issued a driver's license.
