Woman Arrested in Racine County for Driving Drunk with Daughter in Car

Milwaukee woman Nicole Shinaye Saterfield, 40-years-old, was arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Friday night for operating a motor vehicle under the influence with a child in the vehicle under the age of 16.

At approximately 8:09 PM, a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped a vehicle for speeding and failure to operate in designated lane on I-94 eastbound at County Highway C in Racine county. The trooper smelled alcohol and administered field sobriety tests. Saterfield failed those tests and was placed under arrest for OWI 1st offense.

The 9-year-old daughter of the driver was also in the vehicle and was transported home and released to her father by a State Patrol Sergeant. The driver refused chemical testing and a search warrant was obtained.
