Woman arrested for pointing gun at driver on I-43, fleeing police
SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 26-year-old woman is accused of pointing a gun at a driver on I-43 in Saukville, and then fleeing from police.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened on Monday, Oct. 13, while both vehicles traveling southbound on I-43, entering Ozaukee County from Sheboygan County.
Sheriff's deputies located the suspect vehicle on I-43 southbound, south of State Highway 33, and conducted a traffic stop. The driver initially pulled over but then sped off, fleeing from officers.
Deputies and officers pursued the vehicle, which recklessly passed traffic as it continued southbound. Once in Milwaukee County, the suspect vehicle slowed down near 8th and center, and a man jumped out of the vehicle and fled.
The description of the man who fled the vehicle is a Black male, last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, blue pants and carrying a large bag.
Officials say the suspect vehicle continued until police forcibly stopped it near 10th and Hadley.
The driver, a 26-yearold Sheboygan woman, was taken into custody for Fleeing and Eluding an Officer, Reckless Endangering Safety and Bail Jumping. An additional passenger was released from the scene. There were no reports of injuries to officers or subjects.

Department, Milwaukee Police Department, Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office and Wisconsin State Patrol assisted with the incident.
The incident remains under investigation.
