Woman and Son are Fighting Charges to Keep a Romantic Relationship

A New Mexico woman and her son were arrested on incest charges, according to the Daily Mail.
Monica Mares, 36, and her son Caleb Peterson, 19, face up to 18 months if found guilty of incest in New Mexico.
According to the Dail Mail, the mother and son are vowing to fight for their right to have a sexual relationship.
The couple is currently banned from having contact with each other.
Mares told the Daily Mail when she was 16-years-old she gave up her son for adoption.
She said they reconnected via Facebook.
Their relationship became sexual a few weeks later.
