MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--For a lot of us, summer fun means spending time on the waterways. One professional sailing school wants to make sure we're all staying afloat while hitting the high seas. I got to spent a little time onboard a 40-foot Beneteau yacht with the folks from "SailTime." General manager Scott Monroe says sailing is much like driving a car. Some professional training along with minimal distraction can make for the best and safest experience possible.
A recent Coast Guard report states nearly 75 percent of all fatal boating accidents happened because of no formal training. This is a point the folks at "SailTime" are trying to bring home during "National Boating and Fishing Week" happening now.
