With fall allergy season underway, expert offers advice for keeping home clean

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Fall allergy season is underway.

A local indoor air expert joined CBS 58 to talk about ways to help keep allergens out of homes.

Dave Harley of AdvantaClean of Badgerland shared several tips:

• Clean airducts before turning on heat for the first time
• Keep the outdoors out by taking off shoes and wiping down pets
• Purify the air
• Close the windows
• Use a dehumidifier in damp places like bathrooms and basements
