'With a Little Help from My Friends': Ringo Starr announces Milwaukee concert ✌️

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Legendary musician Ringo Starr has unveiled plans for a concert in Milwaukee as part of his upcoming tour.

The former Beatles drummer and accomplished solo artist will perform with his "All Starr Band" at the Miller High Life Theatre on Saturday, Sept. 30, with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the show beginning at 8 p.m.

"I love to play. I love an audience," Starr was quoted as telling Pollstar in a Monday, May 8 press release announcing the concert. "This is a known fact. I love the audience, they love me. We have fun on tour. That's what it's all about."

The lineup features musicians such as Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Edgar Winter, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart and Gregg Bissonette.

As Starr has said throughout his career, he aims to offer "peace and love."
