ST. CROIX COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The shower a woman in western Wisconsin recently took was hardly relaxing. In fact, it was downright shocking.
Ashley Robinson says her hair started to fall out in clumps as she was washing it.
She was left with bald patches on her head.
Robinson went to the emergency room with a burning scalp, where doctors diagnosed her with chemical burns.
"They said it smelled like Nair, it had a very distinct smell to it," Robinson said. "Somebody had to have tampered with it."
Robinson bought the hair conditioner at Walmart. Police are working with the store to see if anyone had tampered with the bottle.
