Wisconsin vs. Minnesota game set for Saturday canceled
MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Not even Paul Bunyan's Axe can stop the impact of COVID-19 on the sports world. The University of Minnesota paused all of their football activities after 15 members of the program tested positive. That means their game against Wisconsin set for Saturday, Nov. 24, has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

This game will not be rescheduled meaning Wisconsin is not eligible for the Big Ten Championship Game.
This is the third Badgers game to be canceled this season and it makes them ineligible for the Big Ten championship game.
Wisconsin is 2-1 and ranked 18th in the country after losing to Northwestern last week. The Badgers next game is scheduled for Saturday, December 5th against Indiana.
