WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin State Fair is making sure no one misses out on the fun this year.
That's why they went to Children's Wisconsin in Wauwatosa to take the fair to the kids there.
Games, decorations, jugglers, music, and of course, cream puffs, were all brought in to give them the fun feel of the fair.
Staff at Children's says it gives patients and their families the ability to enjoy the summer at a time when things aren't so fun.
"It is unbelievably important to our families here to be able to feel like a family, and I think one of our missions at Children's is to make sure that we can really help make sure that kids can be kids, because that is how they cope," said Leslie Scott, child life specialist at Children's Wisconsin.
The fair has been coming to Children's for more than a decade but they're still finding new ways to have fun. With the reopening of the Milwaukee Mile to IndyCar later this month, the kids got to build their own derby cars to race around the hospital.
