Wisconsin player wins $2.5 million Megabucks jackpot

OSHKOSH, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A ticket sold in Oshkosh matched all six winning numbers in the Wisconsin Lottery’s Wednesday, September 20 Megabucks $2.5 million drawing. Wednesday night’s winning Megabucks numbers were 04, 12, 17, 24, 39, and 43.

The $2.5 million winning ticket was sold at Kwik Trip at 2115 Jackson Street in Oshkosh.

The holder of the ticket has 180 days from the September 20 drawing to claim the prize at the Lottery’s headquarters in Madison. If the winner of the $2.5 million jackpot were to choose the cash payout, the lump sum would be $1.8 million.

Megabucks is a jackpot game played only in Wisconsin, with drawings every Wednesday and Saturday. This was the 85th jackpot winning ticket in Megabucks history.

The odds of winning the Megabucks jackpot are 1:7 million.
