(CBS 58) -- Wisconsin's PBS stations are teaming up with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction to support at-home learning for students and families amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

According to a press release, the stations will dedicate daytime weekday broadcasts to educational shows.

The broadcasts will begin Monday, March 30. The programming will include specific blocks of time for Pre-K through 12 grade levels including programming on English, social studies, science and math.

"There's an estimated 30 million out of school during this time, so this is really tailored to really supplement that which students would have been learning in the classrooms," said Bohdan Zachary, VP and GM of Milwaukee PBS.

The broadcasts will be available to stream online. Milwaukee PBS also has online resources for learning at home.

Milwaukee PBS will dedicate the 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. daytime weekday schedule on WMVT 36.1 to educational programming.
