Wisconsin National Guard to continue Covid-19 specimen collection into 2021
MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) --- Wisconsin National Guard specimen collection teams will continue to gather Covid-19 specimens at regional testing sites throughout the statement into early 2021, according to officials.
Teams have collected over over a total of 973,000 specimens at community-based testing sites and institutional-based testing missions, according to a news release. This is in support of the Wisconsin Department of Health Service's efforts to expand testing throughout the entire state.
They have established mobile testing sites since early April at locations ranging from correctional facilities, health clinics and institutional facilities, to private businesses, senior-living facilities, and community-based testing sites, according to officials.
