Wisconsin 'May Madness Raffle' returns: $75,000 top prize and more up for grabs 🎫

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Lottery's "May Madness Raffle" has returned with a limited-time, limited-quantity opportunity at winning. Featuring a top prize of $75,000, up from last year's $50,000, the raffle also provides three chances to win $10,000 and 1,090 additional prizes, totaling 1,094 prizes.

A maximum of 100,000 tickets are available for purchase at all Wisconsin Lottery retailers for $5 each. Tickets are sold in numerical order, starting with 00001, with the first tickets being sold on Monday, May 1. Tickets must be bought before the June 5 drawing.

May Madness Raffle tickets sold out within 16 days in 2022's contest with the $50,000 top prize-winning ticket being sold at a Piggly Wiggly supermarket in Oshkosh.

Each ticket has a unique six-digit number. To secure their winnings, ticket holders should sign the back of their tickets upon receiving them. Once all 100,000 tickets are sold, no more will be available.

To win, the six-digit number on the ticket must exactly match one of the winning numbers drawn, in the exact order.

Winning numbers will be accessible on the evening of June 5 at wilottery.com/games/raffles and at Lottery retailers.
