Wisconsin man charged with snapping Yorkie's neck

WESTON, Wis. (WSAW) -- A 23-year-old Weston man has been charged with intentionally causing the death of a Yorkshire terrier.

An investigation began Feb. 4, after the dog's owner reported her boyfriend, Matthew Newton threw the dog against the wall twice, breaking the dog's neck.

Newton is behind bars on $1,000 cash bond.

A judge ruled Monday he cannot own any pets.
