Wisconsin Humane Society hosting restaurant tasting fundraiser

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Humane Society is holding its 11th annual Feasting for Fido event on Thursday, July 25.

The event takes place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the WHS Milwaukee Campus.

The fundraiser will feature samplings from Beechwood Distributors, Inc., Blue Bat Kitchen & Tequilaria, Café LuLu, Café Manna, DiModa Pizza, Frida, Holey Moley, Le Reve Patisserie and Café, Maxie's & Blue's Egg, Mike's Hard Lemonade, Onesto, Pastiche Bistro, Pizzeria Piccola, Press, Taqueria El Jefe, Tess, Tito's Handmade Vodka, and Ultimate Confections.

Guests can also enjoy beer and wine, music by the Mike Maher Band, and a silent auction.

Four-legged friends will be present to greet attendees, but the humane society asks to please leave your own animals at home.

All proceeds will benefit the Wisconsin Humane Society. Over the years, this fundraiser has raised more than $22,000 for animals in WHS's care.
