Wisconsin Humane Society caring for 30+ dogs removed from residence, donations needed

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Humane Society is asking for donations after taking in more than 30 dogs they say were removed from a single residence by the Racine Police Department last weekend.

The WHS says this marks the first large-scale rescue since moving into their new Racine Campus.

They say they're looking for donations of any size to go toward food, medical care and supplies for the pups.

According to the Humane Society, all of the dogs will go into foster homes to limit the number of essential staff required on-site.

If any become available for public adoption, they'll appear on the Wisconsin Humane Society website.
