MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The head of the Wisconsin Police Chiefs Association is urging lawmakers in Madison to pass a proposal that would provide insurance for the families of officers killed in the line of duty.
Sean Marschke says while the bill has broad support, he's worried it may die in committee.
He says, "If elected officials truly 'back the badge', they need to get this bill signed into law and support the families during their darkest hour."
