MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- National Cheese Lovers Day is set for Monday, Jan. 20, and Chef Kate Konen from Jones Dairy Farm joined us on Thursday, Jan. 16 to share her expertise to celebrate Wisconsin’s cheese heritage.
Konen demonstrated how to prepare Canadian bacon skewer bites and discuss the importance of locally sourced dairy products.
She also spoke about a partnership with Crave Brothers, a Wisconsin-based cheese producer, and explained how to identify authentic Wisconsin-made products. She also emphasized how these efforts support the state’s dairy farmers.
