Wisconsin boy injured after leg gets pinned under semi wheel while getting candy during parade

DENMARK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 4-year-old boy was injured during a parade Sunday morning in the village of Denmark in Brown County. The boy and other children were trying to get candy during the annual Lion's Parade on County Highway KB when the boy's leg was run over by a semi hauling a full size milk tanker owner. The truck was participating in the parade.

According to a release, the boy got too close to the rear tires while getting candy and his leg got pinned briefly under the tire.

The boy suffered a leg injury but it is not life threatening. He was taken to the hospital.
