WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- If you haven't taken advantage of our winter weather so far this season, you have a great opportunity to do so over the next week-and-a-half. Starting Friday, Jan. 17 and running through Jan. 26, you can participate in the 35th Annual Waukesha JanBoree.
To mark this year's milestone, organizers have extended all the fun by another week. Plus new this year, CBS 58 is a proud sponsor.
About every outdoor activity you can think of during the wintertime is highlighted, and there are indoor options as well.
CLICK HERE for look at the schedule of activities at Waukesha Janboree.
Expect to see some new events, including a balloon glow following Friday's opening ceremonies at Lowell Park. Click here to see what's available.
One of the big attractions is tobogganing. CBS 58's Michael Schlesinger actually attempted to do it but wiped out in the end. You can see the video attached to this story (if you really want to see it!).
