(CBS 58) -- People who owe a significant amount of money on their utility bills are at risk of disconnection starting next week.
The winter heating moratorium for We Energies customers ends Monday, April 15.
People who are behind on their bills are encouraged to visit We Energies' website or call customer service at 800-842-4565 to discuss options like payment plans and budget billing.
The utility company says disconnection is a last resort.
