Winter Business Improves

The cold and snow are generally good things if you happen to own a ski hill, but wind chill advisory the operators of one local hill say there are limits. The owner of Little Switzerland encourages people to bundle up before hitting the slopes.

But despite the cold days ahead, he says its still better than last year. In fact, business has gone up since 2014.

\"Our ski visits are up a little this year,\" said Mike Schmitz, owner of Little Switzerland.

Schmitz couldn't give us the exact number of the increase, but did say weather plays a role in their success.

\"It is a winter sport. Our customer understands if you're going to ski in Wisconsin you have to be ready for the cold, but too much cold can hurt us as well,\" said Schmitz.
