Winning numbers drawn for $564 million Powerball jackpot

UPDATE: Winning Powerball numbers for 2/11 are 11, 13, 25, 39, 54 and the Powerball is 19.

You may be dreaming of waking up a multi-millionaire Thursday morning, but so are thousands of others across the nation.

The Powerball jackpot reached $500 million Wednesday, and could possibly go higher before tonight's drawing as hopeful players in 44 states pay to play.

The jackpot breaks down to a $337.8 million cash payout, the highest Powerball jackpot since May 2013, and the third highest jackpot in the game's history.

Each play costs $2 and tickets must be purchased before 9 p.m. to be included in tonight's drawing.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are about 1 in 175 million, but players who don't hit the big jackpot can still win cash. Prizes range from $4 for matching just the Powerball to $1 million for matching all five numbers but not the Powerball.

For an extra $1 per play, players can choose Power Play to increase non-jackpot winnings, which will be multiplied by the drawing's Power Play number. For example, if a player wins $10,000 and the Power Play number chosen is five, that player wins $50,000. The $1 million prize automatically becomes $2 million with Power Play.

There's also a plus for Wisconsin homeowners. Wisconsin Lottery says more than $3 billion in property tax relief  has been provided to Wisconsin homeowners since the sale of the first lottery ticket in 1988.

Despite the odds, many still buy the tickets in hopes of winning. \"I want to be rich,\" said Jim Belha.

The chances are slim. According to the U.S. Lifesaving Association, you have a better chance at getting attacked by a shark. Those odds are 1 in 11.5 million. Discover Magazine says your chances of getting killed in an asteroid impact is one in 700-thousand.

\"You can't win if you don't play,\" said Gregory Keys.

You can buy tickets until 9 p.m. the night of the drawing.
