Confirmed tornadoes from Tuesday’s Severe weather outbreak
It was a rather nice weekend across southeast Wisconsin with temps in the 50s and 60s with rather light winds for the most part. Wind gusts will increase tonight into Monday morning ahead of a low pressure system. Winds will begin to gust between 30-35 mph after midnight, peaking around 40 mph early in the morning. Afternoon wind gusts won't be as strong, but will still be around 20-30 mph.
These southwest winds will help boost temps into the low to mid 60s Monday afternoon once the clouds and showers clear out. Spotty showers develop with this system after midnight and will exit around mid morning.
The rain will be very light with around 0.05" or less area-wide.
After topping out in the 60s on Monday, temps will fall closer to normal Tuesday and Wednesday and slightly below normal in the upper 40s by the end of the week.
The cooler than normal temps will only be here briefly. The temperature outlook for the middle of the month shows a very high chance we have above normal temperatures. By then our normal high is in the upper 40s, so this tells us more 50s are on the way.
