The wind has been whipping the last few days with wind gusts above 40 and even 50 mph Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon wind gusts got as high as 56 mph in the Sheboygan area and almost everyone saw wind gusts of at least 40 mph.
All of that warm air Tuesday pushed high temperatures well into the 40s with Kenosha even making a run close to 50 degrees!
Temperatures will stay mild the next few days with highs reaching the low 40s today then 50s on Thursday! Friday and Saturday are a bit cooler in the 30s then some warming again for Groundhog's Day on Sunday into the 40s.
While the wind Wednesday and Thursday won't be as strong as Monday and Tuesday we could see wind gusts around 30 mph at times. The wind shifts to the southwest on Thursday bringing in the warm air. Friday stays a bit breezy out of the NE to 20 mph.
