MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Discovery World will host "Wheels & Water" on Sunday, Aug. 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. as part of a free outdoor event celebrating Milwaukee’s engineering, design and public service.

The family-friendly event invites children and adults to explore the machines that keep Milwaukee running, from fire trucks and utility equipment to public works vehicles and environmental technology.

The event will include participation from the Milwaukee Fire Department, WE Energies, MMSD, Milwaukee Public Library and other local organizations. It is sponsored by Generac.

Attendees can also visit the Harley-Davidson Museum booth to receive complimentary tickets to the museum, available while supplies last and valid through the end of 2025.
