It's been a wet start to the week and that trend will continue the next 36 hours. Scattered rain pushed through Wednesday morning with most spots picking up a few tenths of an inch.

With Wednesday morning's rain the total for rainfall since Monday in Milwaukee adds up to 1.25". Both Monday and Tuesday picked up right around a half inch of rain.

The rest of Wednesday afternoon should stay dry, but remain cloudy with more scattered showers returning Thursday. The best chance for rain on Thursday looks to be in the late morning through the afternoon and then finally drying Thursday evening.

Additional rainfall on Thursday of a quarter to a half inch of rain is possible.

Area river levels have been responding well to the additional rain and at this time no flood warnings are expected although some rivers could get close. Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to track the rain over the next 36 hours.
