West Bend police discover man, woman dead in Lac Lawrann Park

WEST BEND, Wis. (CBS 58) -- West Bend police report two people found dead in Lac Lawrann Park died as a result of a planned mutual suicide act. 

Police identified the individuals as a married couple; an 81-year-old West Bend woman and 85-year-old West Bend man. 

The incident remains under investigation. There is no evidence there is any danger to the public.

WEST BEND, Wis. (CBS 58) -- West Bend police are investigating after discovering a man and woman dead in Lac Lawrann Park Thursday, Feb. 10.

Authorities say the victims had apparent gunshot wounds and a firearm was located on scene around 5:44 p.m.

Law enforcement searched the park and no other victims were located.

The incident remains under investigation.

Police say there is no evidence suggesting any danger to the public at this time.
