West Bend man arrested for 5th OWI after allegedly running stop sign

WEST BEND, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A man was arrested for his 5th OWI, West Bend Police said Friday. 

Investigators say a citizen reported his vehicle had been hit by another vehicle that ran a stop sign on South Silverbrook Drive at Chestnut Street just before 11:00 a.m. Thursday. 

Officers say the driver, a 47-year-old West Bend man showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests. He also failed a breathalyzer test, blowing a .104. 

In addition to be arrested for his 5th OWI, the main was also cited for failing to yield the right of way. Police say no one was hurt in the crash.
