West Bend man arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting wife, threatening to kill her

EAST TROY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A  42-year-old West Bend man is now facing multiple charges of First Degree Sexual Assault as well as False Imprisonment, Use of a Dangerous Weapon.

CBS 58 News is not naming the man in order to protect the identity of the victim.

According to the criminal complaint, the victim told police that she went to a cabin in East Troy with her husband to sign papers so that they could sell a boat. The victim told police that she had been married to her husband for 5 years and was planning on divorcing him.

Once at the cabin, the victim told police that the suspect pushed her onto the bed and pulled out a black gun, saying he was going to kill her. The suspect also allegedly pointed the gun at himself and told the victim that he was going to make her watch him die while he was on top of her.

According to the criminal complaint, the suspect then struck the victim in the back of the head and taped her to the bed. The suspect then allegedly sexually assaulted the victim and threatened to cover the cottage in fuel and burn them both to death.

The victim told police that the suspect used his cell phone to record everything that happened.

Officers made contact with the suspect who denied that anything physical happened between the two.

The victim was examined at a local hospital where it was discovered that she had bruising on her neck, left arm, wrist, forearm, and legs which appeared to be consistent with being bound at the ankles.
