Cop on a Rooftop: New Berlin police team up with Dunkin' to raise money for Special Olympics Wisconsin

NEW BERLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Dunkin' is teaming up with law enforcement to raise money for Special Olympics Wisconsin through their "Cop on a Rooftop" campaign.  

An officer with the New Berlin Police Department was out there bright and early Friday morning, Aug. 14. 

The fundraiser supports year-round sports, competition and other programs for Special Olympics athletes. 

"We want to raise funds throughout the year so we can continue to have our Special Olympic athletes be able to do different things like going to state games and fundraising for all their events throughout the year," said Erica Komorowski, community service officer with the New Berlin Police Department. 

Donations were being collected until noon.
