West Allis school bus driver charged with possession of child pornography

WEST ALLIS -- A West Allis school bus driver is accused of downloading child pornography to the laptop computer located in his family's home.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice - Division of Criminal Investigation executed a search warrant at the West Allis home of 53-year-old William Casper. The criminal complaint says investigators found multiple videos of underage girls performing sex acts on a laptop in the home's basement. Casper is accused of using Ares, a peer to peer file sharing program, to download child pornography.

The criminal complaint says Casper lived in his West Allis home for approximately 21 to 22 years. Casper's wife told investigators her husband had been driving school bus in the West Allis area for about 23 years. Casper's wife says she gave the laptop allegedly used to download child pornography to her husband \"about 10 months ago\".

According to the criminal complaint, more charges could be filed against Casper in the future. He's only charged with two counts of possession of child pornography.

If convicted on both counts of possession of child pornography, Casper would face up to 50 years in prison.
