West Allis Police investigating stabbing at group home near 91st and Greenfield

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The West Allis Police Department is currently investigating a stabbing that took place at a group home.

It happened around 8:05 a.m. on Thursday.

Officers were initially called out to a group home near 91st and Greenfield for a report of a resident who was allegedly out of control and damaging things. 

Upon arrival, officers learned that one resident of the group home stabbed someone else inside.

The offender was taken into custody without incident.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where he is being treated for a non-life threatening stab wound to the arm. 

Charges are pending with the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
