MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Wes Covington played more than five seasons with the old Braves, and on Tuesday he was honored for his time in Milwaukee.
Wes Covington's widow Patricia spoke at the ceremony, inducting Covington into the Braves Wall of Honor at American Family Field.
Covington hit 64 home runs and drove in 258 runs in a Milwaukee uniform and he'll forever be part of the city's first World Series championship team.
"Thank you for honoring Wes in this way. And the biggest honor of my life will be tonight at the game."
Wes Covington, who died in 2011, will be saluted Tuesday night before the Brewers host the Phillies.
