Fundraiser to support pet owners, honor those lost to fentanyl overdose

MUSKEGO, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Roxz's Resources & Awareness is holding its annual fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 12 from 2 to 6 p.m. at The Tipsy Turtle Patio & Grill, supporting local pet owners while raising awareness about drug overdose.

The event includes information about the organization's work, raffles, merchandise and a wine pull, according to founder and President Vicky Van Lare, who joined us Friday, Sept. 11, to preview the fundraiser.

The event will also honor families who have lost a loved one to a fentanyl overdose, with a memorial board where attendees can bring photos and connect with others who have experienced similar loss.
