We're Coasting with This Holiday Weekend Forecast

For a holiday weekend, you can't ask for much better.  The nice conditions will last right through Labor Day, although you'll start to feel an uptick in heat and humidity.  Highs on Saturday were quite tolerable, in the 70s for all of us.

But by Monday itself, you'll experience highs in the mid 80s.  And with humidity you can easily bump up these numbers to around 90.  So the moral of the story is to keep the A/C running.

The heat and humidity don't really let up until late in the week.  A couple of storm systems will keep the storm threat going from Tuesday into early Saturday.  Then it's looking a whole lot better.  I'm hoping we can get another good drink from Mother Nature over the course of the work week.  We really need it.  The rainfall deficit is about 6.75 inches.

Meantime, make sure to download the free CBS58 weather app before the next round of storms moves in for the early part of next week.  You can also send your holiday photos via the app or at [email protected]. We love to see and share them.
