Welfare check turns into homicide investigation in Racine

The Racine Police Department is investigating a homicide on the 3200 block of Indiana Street.
Officers responded to the street around 4:00 PM Tuesday for a welfare check.
That’s when they found a 42-year-old man dead.
The police department's major crimes unit was activated.
The incident is still under investigation.
There are no suspects in custody.
