Weekend Cool Blast...First 30s of the Season?

Today is the 142st day in a row with at least a high of 60 degrees!  The old record was 140 days set in 2005; however, changes are set to arrive for Friday into Saturday.  Take a look at the colder air to our north across Canada!  It could end our streak on Saturday.

Friday's highs will occur during the morning as the cold front slides through.  Grab the jacket for the afternoon with temperatures falling into the upper 50s.

We will feel the brunt of the cooler air Friday night into Saturday morning with temperatures dropping into the upper 30s and lower 40s!  Thankfully frosty conditions will stay away with this front, but it wouldn't be out of the ordinary.  The counties west of Lake Michigan typically experience their first frost or freeze during the first week of October.

The warmer lake water keeps the counties around the lake safe until late October!
