SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN (CBS 58) – The CBS 58 Tailgate heads to Hartford High School, where the Orioles are flying high. They’ve scored 47 points a game the last two weeks and the defense has three shutouts this year. Hartford’s ready for the big test and they get it this Friday when Hartford travels to Homestead, a match-up of 6-and-1 teams in Friday’s game of the week.
“We’re looking forward to playing Homestead. We’ve had a little bit of rivalry going with them back to the early 2000’s when we started matching up with them in the playoffs,” said Hartford Head Coach John Redders.
“Hartford was on the map a little while ago and we kind of fell off a little while, but like, we’re back now and we think we can really take on Homestead,” says Hartford quarterback Tristan Bradley.
“We’re more of a family now than we’ve ever been and I think that’s what helps us win games and helps us play is that we know we’ve got each other’s back,” says Hartford halfback Logan Broker.
