Details announced for the 10th annual Mayor’s Masked Ball fundraiser
WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- High school football is back this week and the CBS 58 Tailgate has already been to the campuses of both schools in our game of the week.
On Wednesday, CBS 58 checked in with Brookfield East. On Thursday we’re talking to Tosa West where the Trojans are starting a new year in a new conference and they probably would have started the season a month ago if they could have.
Head Coach Matt Good’s group hopes their patience and hard work pay off this week.
“This is what it’s about, man, our kids can’t wait. We’ve had an incredible off season here. We feel our kids work hard, and our kids know they work hard and they’re ready to get out there and anxious to get started,” says Coach Good.
“I think we’re really ready, we’ve been working really hard in the off season and it’s been a big goal of ours to come into this new conference and really show everyone what we’re made of,” says Jonathon Schufelt, Tosa West linebacker.
“It’s always fun going up against a good competition like Brook East, especially since they’re the defending state champs. Puts an extra chip on our shoulder and I think we’re ready to go,” says Tosa West offensive lineman Bennett Inman.
