On Wednesday morning, several people were getting ready to fly from Milwaukee to Charlotte, North Carolina.

“We were going to go to Charleston, but I don’t know if we will,” Marlene Gerner said. “We might change our plans.”
Flights to some airports on the East Coast are expected to be canceled or delayed in the coming days. Several airlines are waiving change fees to accommodate travelers at impacted airports.
