First 50s arrive five weeks late with more on the way
Milwaukee (CBS 58)--So, we got our "Brown Christmas" this year. Some of you are happy. And others aren't. No surprise there. We hit 57 degrees today. The old record is 61 degrees set back in 1982. The last time we hit the 50s on Christmas Day was in 1994 when the high was 52 degrees.

Looking ahead, we have several other opportunities to hit 50 in the next five days, including Thursday and both weekend days.

Then it gets much colder as a cold front blasts into the area on Sunday, dropping the temps and changing any rain to snow into Sunday evening. Both Saturday and Sunday look rather damp, by the way. We go back to seasonable highs early next week with another warmup expected by the start of the new year. Up and down, up and down.
