We Energies: Dozens of buildings west of Milwaukee River remain without heat, hot water

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- We Energies reported as of noon on Friday, May 22, 50 buildings on the west side of the Milwaukee River remain without steam service. 

Monday, May 18, crews worked to pump hundreds of gallons from underground pipes following heavy rainfall. 

According to the energy company, crews are finding extensive damage to underground equipment in the areas of 2nd and Clybourn Avenue.

We Energies said they will continue to work 24/7 until the remaining customers have been restored. They expect restoration to buildings by noon Saturday, May 23.
